Le robinet de cuisine Indira ™ de Pfister®, d'inspiration artistique, met en valeur la conception de poignées jamais vue auparavant

janv. 27, 2015
LAKE FOREST, Calif.—January 27, 2015—Design elements have always been at the core of a room’s aesthetics, and many consumers state they focus on that aspect first when updating a room. Now, Pfister® is showing the impact that faucet design can have with the introduction of Indira™, a first-of-its-kind faucet with integrated handle that delivers a contemporary, modern appearance. With this addition, the company is changing the way consumers and the industry look at faucets by placing importance on a stand-out design that becomes a center of attention in the décor.

Inspired by artistic attributes found in sculptures, Pfister rethought the interaction of the faucet handle with the fixture’s body, molding it as a part of the product versus a separate piece. The layout gives Indira a high-quality look and feel, while adding sophistication to the operation. The new faucet showcases a first-to-market design that the company plans to extend into additional products based on positive user response.

“Gone are the days when faucet handles and other external parts are a secondary thought in product design,” said Aaron Hanna, Industrial Design Lead for Pfister. “Indira integrates the faucet handle in a way that’s never been done before. Consumers have seen this type of design in art, but this is the first time that it’s appearing in the faucet category. Indira has the ability to adapt the look of fine art and balance it with faucet aesthetics.”

Pfister designed Indira based on research it conducted on sculptural art pieces and handle trends, including user interaction and handle feel. The beauty and distinctive look of a kitchen is enhanced by placing special importance on the faucet as a central focal point. The Indira faucet features a fluid and integrated design that complements its unique appearance, drawing attention and creating a conversation-starter in the room.

“We created this faucet for a variety of consumers—those who are design oriented, have an appreciation for art, place importance on exclusive design, like unique details or simply want a conversation piece,” said Darin Heuer, Group Marketing Manager for Pfister. “The beauty and aesthetics of Indira truly allow it to stand out from any other faucet choice.”

Additional features of the faucet include:
• AccuDock™ - Securely docks spray head into flared spout tube
• DualSpray™ - Spray and Stream Functions
• MultiMount™ - 1, 2, 3 and 4 Hole Installation
• EZ Clean™ - Soft touch nozzles help remove water deposits with the touch of a finger
Indira Kitchen Faucet will be available in March 2015 in Chrome (MSRP of $199) or Stainless Steel (MSRP of $229) finishes at all Lowe’s stores across the country. Visit www.pfisterfaucets.com for more information.
