Brand tells design stories, introduces customizable shower experiences & new collections

LAS VEGAS, NV. — February 19, 2019 — Pfister, an industry leader in plumbing fixtures known for its thoughtful, architectural design styles that suit every taste, is not only showcasing new kitchen and bath pieces designed for discerning users, but they are telling the unique design stories of two new bath collections, Tenet and Rhen at KBIS booth #N2875. Showcasing imagination, elegance, and simplicity, the two collections each relate a unique design narrative.

Pfister’s showcase at KBIS 2019 introduces the Tenet line, three innovative shower technologies, and five new pull-down kitchen faucet designs, as well as rolling out the anticipated (and now widely available) Rhen Collection. All of the products reflect the company’s motto of Design Made Right, marrying world-class design and functionality for practical luxury that suits any budget and style.

"For 2019, we wanted to announce to the world these breathtaking pieces that haven’t been seen elsewhere, from the precision-engineered, elegant designs in our new bathroom faucets and accessories to our three new showerheads giving users an unparalleled showering experience,” said Darin Heuer, Group Marketing Manager. “We are also happy to present the Miri pull-down kitchen faucet featuring our unique, patented top-down installation innovation called TopPfit. All of these pieces build on our brand’s experience developing and delivering perfectly balanced, state-of-the-art products that embody the perfect marriage of form and function."

Rhen Collection

Inspired by the elegant, free-flowing folds of an heirloom wedding dress, Rhen integrates an elegant silhouette with a stylized drapery motif for a striking combination of sculptural craftsmanship and sinuous curves. The hourglass shape of Rhen’s faucet echoes the fluid movement of the flowing gown, bringing to mind the way in which fabric drapes a figure for stunning effect.

Featuring 84 finished faucets, shower and bath products, and accessories, Rhen’s all-metal construction is built to last. With its petite spout and peek-a-boo trough, the flow of water mimics the graceful exterior, curving delicately and pushing the boundaries of water delivery. The Rhen Bath Collection is available at leading kitchen and bath showrooms in four finishes: Polished Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Matte Black, and Brushed Gold.

Tenet Collection

Featuring a sleek, minimalistic design aesthetic, the Tenet Collection strips away any unnecessary elements, showcasing form while maintaining functionality. The 84 pieces in the collection feature both precise engineering and sophisticated, luxurious, and approachable design.

The single-control faucet is designed to mimic the meticulous, purposeful essence of a finely-tuned watch. The horizontal lever is mounted on the side, rather than the top. Swiveling the lever forward activates water flow and changes temperature progressively from cold to hot.

Tenet’s widespread faucets feature a new valving system that mounts below the deck, eliminating the need for handle hubs and allowing for slim and elegant handle stems.

The tub filler in the new Tenet collection showcases another innovation. The shower arm cradle doubles as diverter. Swivel the arm forward to divert water from the tub spout to the hand shower. This functionality eliminates the need for a separate diverter handle and enables an ultra-clean design that omits any unnecessary pieces.

Tenet’s new Shower Integrated Rail follows Tenet’s mantra “Everything you need, nothing you don’t”. The showerhead mounts directly on the slide bar for this shower with slide bar system. The hand shower diverter is also integrated into the hand shower so that the water diverts with an easy press of a button. The Tenet Shower Integrated Rail can be easily retrofitted to existing showers without altering plumbing or replacing valves or trim.

Inspired by the balance of nature, the modern transitional Tenet epitomizes purposefully minimalist design. Using all-brass construction and conveying the meeting of practicality and luxury, Tenet is engineered to stand the test of time. Available exclusively at Ferguson in Brushed Gold, Polished Chrome, Matte Black, and Brushed Nickel.

Showerhead Category

Pfister proudly introduces three new entries into the showerhead category, all with innovative spray functions and effects for showers unlike anything users have experienced before.

Restore showerhead technology features a revolutionary spray function that allows the user to seamlessly “dial-in” a custom spray setting from an intense concentrated narrow spray to a soothing wide spray. Other spray options include Full Coverage for efficient rinsing and Massage for tension relieve. Users now have ultimate control over their showering experience for a perfect shower, every time.

HydroDrench gives users focused coverage with more water concentration for an invigorating shower experience. Larger drops and a unique spray pattern deliver the ultimate shower experience while conserving water. Users simply turn the dial to change the spray setting to any of the five distinct options from a powerful rinse to an intense full coverage massage.

ThermoForce heightens the showering experience for the ideal combination of water coverage, force, and heat retention. The powerful helix spray pattern provides an encompassing spray with larger droplets that retain heat for a continuously toasty water temperature. With its six selectable functions from a light mist to the eponymous ThermoForce setting with 3x the standard force, the ThermoForce showerhead meets or exceeds EPA WaterSense, CALGreen, and California Energy Commission standards

All three showerheads, featuring water conservation technology, are now available. ThermoForce is available at Home Depot. Restore and HydroDrench are available only at Lowes.

Kitchen Faucets

Pfister is also displaying five new pull-down kitchen faucet designs: Kroft, Maren, Talby, Aadaya, and Miri

Kroft’s softly squared accents, tall arcing spout, and transitional design make it an ideal centerpiece for any kitchen.

Maren features a traditional curved silhouette, refined trim, and high-positioned handle.

Talby’s clean lines and 360-degree rotating spout with optional side spray will be at home in any contemporary kitchen.

Aadaya’s concealed, retractable spray head gives this piece a smooth, uninterrupted aesthetic, while the forward-only rotation of its handle is perfectly-sized for streamlined kitchens.

Miri is a first-of-its-kind faucet featuring Pfister’s new, patented, top-down installation innovation, TopFit. TopPfit makes faucet installation more convenient and faster than ever before. A provided tool is inserted into the faucet body above the deck to tighten the mounting bracket below the deck. This top-down installation eliminates time spent on your back under the sink to tighten the mounting nut below the deck.

Kroft, Maren, and Talby are available at Lowe’s. Aadaya is only available at Home Depot stores in Canada. Miri may be purchased online-only at Amazon, Lowe’s, and Home Depot.

FORTIS Gattinara and Vitrina Collections

Available in the spring of 2019, the new, extensive FORTIS Gattinara and Vitrina bath collections will include lavatory faucets, showering products, roman tubs, tub filler and accessories in matching styles and finishes such as Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Gun Metal and Brushed Gold. The Gattinara collection was designed from the concept of organic flowing water from the rocks one would find in the crisp, clean streams and lakes near the Italian Alps. The Gattinara is a new take on a trough faucet with the mechanism for the trough becoming central to the design of the faucet itself. The name comes from the northern Italian wine region of Gattinara, which produces bold, red wines that evoke the bold, modern aesthetic and natural beauty of the faucet.

The Vitrina collection was inspired by the flowing shape of seagulls in flight. In the lake district of Northern Italy, seagulls will follow the small boats each day as they leave the dock to fish for the daily catch. The designer was inspired by these birds’ fluidity and the profiles of their wings to create a collection that feels like it could take flight in spite of its brass construction. The name Vitrina means “window” and evokes the image of Lake Orta with its clear-as-glass surface.

The FORTIS line is exclusive to Ferguson in the US. These collections will appear in Ferguson showrooms starting in June 2019.
