Pfister™ Introduces Three New Bath Faucet Designs

Jan 26, 2012

Ideal Bath Faucet Provides a Pull-Out Sprayhead for Added Functionality without Sacrificing Style

Lake Forest, California (November, 2011) - Pfister™ recently introduced several new bath faucets to the Pfister family – Ideal™, Jaida™ and a new addition to the popular Selia™ line-up which is available exclusively at Lowe’s.

The “Ideal” Balance between Style and Functionality

Ideal's graceful form and sleek handles add style and comfort to the bathroom, while its unique pull-out sprayer offers greater functionality than other leading bathroom faucets, such as rinsing the sink, cleaning-up after shaving, and washing hair. When not in use, the sprayer neatly retracts into the spout, maintaining Ideal's elegant appearance. Ideal also features the Pfister exclusive Push & Seal™ drain assembly for easy installation and a tight drain seal every time.

“Unlike other pull-out bath faucets that have come before, Ideal is all about style – featuring a clean, subtle, elegant style that will work well in most homes,” said Kevin Bean, director of product development, Bath, Pfister. “The key feature that separates this faucet from the competition is not what Ideal has, but rather what it is lacking – a bulky, unattractive spray head. It’s also available at an even more affordable price point than current pull-out bath faucets, because we believe everyone should have access to great style and functionality.”

Ideal is EPA WaterSense certified and available for a suggested retail price of $98 for Brushed Nickel and $119 for Tuscan Bronze.

Jaida Makes a Statement

Jaida is Pfister’s latest single control trough faucet. Jaida expresses grace and elegance with soft, sleek lines and subtle traditional styling cues. The faucet can be - more - mounted without a deck plate for one-hole installations or with a deckplate to accommodate 4 inch centerset three-hole installations. Jaida also features the innovative Push & Seal drain assembly for easy installation and a tight seal every time.

“We developed Jaida to fill what we saw as a gap in the trough faucet market,” continued Bean. “Usually, trough faucets are either very traditional, like our popular Ashfield design, or extremely modern. Jaida is a transitional design that will fit with most décor styles and still offer that unique single control trough look.”

Jaida is EPA WaterSense certified and available for a suggested retail price of $99 for Polished Chrome and $119 for Brushed Nickel, making it more affordable and accessible than other competitive trough faucets currently in store.

The Balance and Versatility of Selia

Selia was originally introduced in September of last year as a two-handle centerset or widespread design in Brushed Nickel, and was hailed as one of Pfister’s most versatile designs to date. Selia harmoniously combined traditional and contemporary styling with just the right balance of classic charm and contemporary chic.

“Selia is a contemporary-looking faucet, but it’s not so modern that it excludes large groups of consumers from being able to incorporate it within their own home,” said Bean.

Selia’s versatile, clean design with square styling cues is now available as a single control faucet in Polished Chrome and Brushed Nickel. The faucet can be mounted without a deck plate for one-hole installations or with a deckplate to accommodate 4 inch centerset three-hole installations. The entire Selia collection is available exclusively at Lowe’s. The new single control Selia is offered at a suggested retail price of $68 for Polished Chrome and $88 for Brushed Nickel.

In addition to Selia, Jaida and Ideal, Pfister recently introduced several other new faucet designs including Designer, Sonterra in Tuscan Bronze, and Altavista.
