Pfister Park Avenue Faucet Garners 2012 Award for Design Excellence [ADEX]

Lake Forest, CA, -- Pfister has been named a 2012 Platinum Award winner for their Park Avenue Faucet in the Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) competition, sponsored by Design Journal magazine.
In the last 18 years, ADEX has become the largest and most prestigious awards program for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes marketed to the design trade.
“The 2011-12 ADEX Awards attracted upwards of 500 companies submitting more than 2,800 innovative new products,” said John Platter, executive director of ADEX. “The ADEX Award has recognized many outstanding product designs over the years, and Pfister’s Park Avenue has earned its place among that elite group.”
Park Avenue evokes the drama of New York and the high end modernity of the Art Deco Style. Like its namesake, Park Avenue’s lines reflect a modern grace that blends into many decorative styles. The Park Avenue Collection is found exclusively at Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting showrooms nationwide.
“Pfister is honored to have been the recipient of numerous ADEX design awards for more than 10 years. 2011 proved to be our most successful year, receiving four awards for our distinguished faucets: Elevate EXT and Park Avenue (Platinum Winners), Carnegie (Gold), and Wheaton (Silver). All of the entries in each of the ADEX categories have potential for three award levels of platinum, gold or silver. Judges awarded points based on form, function, value, and fitness for particular purpose. Total points earned determined each winner’s award level. All Platinum, Gold and Silver level products will be published in the 2012 ADEX Winners Issue of Design Journal, the international resource for interior designers, architects and facility managers.
